Internship


Week 1 7/1/2013
The first week of industrial training. I started my first week act at a company called legal review. Here I was assigned as a telemarketer where a telemarketer job is to contact the contact list provided by the supervisor and promote product or service that we provide to them. at first, when I was interviewed by them I have mentioned that I want to field event and they agreed. but without any notice or intimation I had the job as a telemarketer which is definitely not in my field of interest. so in the same week I was off to college to seek advice lecturer and coordinator to switch to another company to continue their training and allow my industry.

Week 2 14/1/2013
Second week of industrial training. I started the second week of industrial training with a new company. The company was named as ZMK Resources. This company is a consultant company that provides consultant services to many companies like Celcom and U Mobile Telecommunication. In ZMK Resources, they offered me a post as project manager assistant. In this week i just given few simple task and explanation about civil engineering and consultancy. Although I've faced the different in terms of learning but i still can use the business strategy method in the company.

Week 3 21/1/2013
Third week of industrial training. This week I was taken by my supervisor to the construction site to learn about the structure proposed by us to the contractor that hired by our client such as Celcom Berhad. There are various types of telecommunication structure that I need to learn such as Mono Pole and Pole Tree. Each type of this structure, I need to understand the functions and applications to enable me to provide consultancy in the future.

Week 4 28/1/2013
Fourth week of industrial training. This week I was given an assignment that I have to send to the company profile of the new telecommunications company known as ALTEL Communication. This is to get jobs or tenders to be one of the consultants for their company. I cannot get any job or sites from this new telco company because their prefer to get in with consultant company that have their name established.

Week 5 4/2/2013
Fifth week of industrial training. This week I and my supervisor went to Asiaspace and Konsurtium Jaringan Selangor (KJS). Our purpose there is for my supervisor want to provide guidance on how to do public relation with the important person in the company. My supervisor has over 20 years experience in this field so his name was not among the stranger's in Asiaspace and KJS. So my supervisor introduce me to his friends and let me deal the things. For the result, i get a few site from AsiaSpace and KJS.

Week 6 11/2/2013
Sixth week of industrial training. This week I were taught by my supervisor the procedure from the beginning until the completion of one site. There I was taught about the structural drawings using Auto cad software. The drawing should meet exact requirements and size. The structural drawing will then be printed on paper and delivered  to Asiaspace and KJS to be evaluated. If there have no problems, a contractor will be appointed to carry out the proposed construction work on-site. During the construction of on-site construction, a consultant should be on the site to ensure that all work is done according to the correct specifications.

Week 7 18/2/2013
Seventh week of industrial training. This week I've been going to the site to do surveys. Beside to do the surveys, I also have to check the site which is still under construction to ensure there are no problems there.

Week 8 25/2/2013
Eighth week of industrial training. This week I was just given a simple task and does not require me to do outdoor jobs. This is because my lecturer on this week will make a visit to my office to evaluate my work for two months of the industrial training. My supervisor gives guidance to make a nice slide show and convince. On the slide,  I put all the task that i have been required to do for this two months. After done the site visit to my office, my supervisor made ​​a farewell to appreciate my presence in his company.
